Ásdís Loftsdóttir is the owner and head designer of DIZA by Alprjon. She graduated in 1986 with a BA in fashion merchandising and design from The American College for the Applied Arts in Los Angeles and London.

A versatile and creative woman, Ásdís made time to nurture a career in modelling, design, fashion journalism, teaching and retailing. Ásdís then returned to Reykjavík and founded her company. She has been creating ever since.

Ásdís focuses most of her time developing her unique brand of woollen garments.
